End of the trilogy. I loved the graphics in this one, new abilities, and the implementation of the sky-line was nice. The story was really good, a lot of topics and the showcase of them in the game was well done. Like the first one, the charisma of the characters really sealed it off for me.

Godamn I forgot how racist the enemy faction was in this game. XD Wouldn't be a BioShock title without political commentary.

The third and final game of the Bioshock franchise. Take it or leave it, Infinite has left many players with mixed feelings. Thrilled, satisfied, perplexed and perhaps disappointed. A time when games were still good and made with tender love and care before saying farewell and finally resting in peace as a legend. Infinite has a story with one step up further to being complex and well written with out that washed out cliche romantic stuff.

Its beautiful in its own way and captures the Bioshock charm. A world to be ruled not by gods or kings but by men. A twisted and corrupt society where men can play god by their own rules. Infinite may remain somewhat distant from the previous games and from other players hearts as the original games all take place in Rapture the underwater city controlled by Andrew Ryan. Infinite steps out of this zone completely.

Infinite remains different mostly due to the fact that its no longer at the bottom of sea but in the clouds. No longer do you encounter big daddies and splicers but instead its the violent police and fanatic rebels. There is no multiple endings but there are choices you can make but they differ very little. The idea of different worlds and time lines puts together the Bioshock plots, closing off loop holes essentially. Its complex and has many layers that keeps getting interesting and yet like all Bioshock endings, its a cliff hanger almost as if there is still more to it.

I love the character building of Booker and Elizabeth. Its perfect. One of the best protagonists to be made. There is a fine line of emotions, personalities, morals, and judgement without going overboard. Even the antagonists Comstock, much like Andrew Ryan. He is the perfect villain with a sense of questionable judgment and twisted logic.

The biggest downfall I could see for many is the gameplay mechanics. I little different but somewhat the same. For starters, you don't collect weapons. You can only carry two at a time and upgrades is easily attainable and cheaply. Use to be almost like a reward. The satisfaction of finding a weapon upgrade station allowing players to wisely choose upgrades to their favored weapon. The combat feels cool and smooth but in the end its almost a shooting gallery. Power ups haven't changed much mostly the same but with a twist. I do miss the painful feel of a needle stabbing your wrist when you run low on vigor. The tear or gateway splits is really cool but with the story it almost complicates the plot. That ending though. My god, I need to replay it to understand. Just my opinion.

The DLC Burial at Sea 1 and 2.... HOLY MOLY! It ties everything together back to the original and seals the gaps. What a game and what an ending.

The overall plot I find, says something about redemption and rulership. No matter how you look at it, revenge never solves anything. It just makes you another enemy and to play god only brings its own consequences of destruction.
Infinite is a golden game and beautifully done. It remains as part of the Holy Grail collection and sits proudly next to its predecessors.
