By the way, the resolution of some pictures are really weak. Hope they will be changed soon.
Do you have an example of a low resolution image that you've found?
Our first post-launch patch is up on our open-beta channels now for those who wish to get it early before it rolls live to everyone.
If you would like to get early access to our patches on Steam, here's what to do:
I am practically an alien in the VR world, perhaps the last of my kind. I am using an HP Reverb G2, which was known as "the simmer's" headset, and not at all recommended for games like Synthriders due to not having the greatest controller tracking. While there are definitely deadzone problems, the controllers are actually perfectly serviceable otherwise.
I digress. The problem I am having is browsing songs. For the bundled-in songs, my assumption was that I would point at the < and > arrows along the bottom tray/dock to scroll left and right, but when I do this it always snaps back to the right. Eventually, I discovered that holding the left analog stick to the left allowed me to navigate in that direction.
99% of my time is in Custom Songs though, so I thought no biggie... Until I tried to browse through my custom songs. Before, there were nice up/down arrows and I could very rapidly slide through my track list and get to where I needed to go. Now, there is a scroll bar (terrible in VR) or I can try to hold my left analog stick down. The former is more preferable to the latter, but the problem I run into is that as the tile graphics load for each track (and I have m a n y), it slides my menu continually upwards. This makes scrolling through custom songs extremely painful.
Otherwise, so far I have noticed what seems to be a massive performance improvement. For the longest time, I have avoided playing on the "default" stage because I got terrible stutter on it for some reason, but it was running excellent now. Also subtle, but somehow awesome is the change to the rails both in terms of how they look and the force feedback. Loving it. Hope to see the UI become less tortuous!
The implemented controls here are up/down analog stick with acceleration (the list should scroll faster the longer you hold); grab the list and drag up/down; grab the scroll object and drag it *and* you can click in the negative space above and below the scroll bar to do large jumps of sections. I'm hoping that one of these options will give you what you are looking for; the bar grab has been very well used by people who have stick drift!
