shes not bad. she feels the same as she did in 5lr. good/middle. tho only time will tell.
She does seem to hit far harder than everyone else. There were 3 of us in the lobby and she was destroying everyone by a lower rank. What I witnessed last night has never happened with any other character.
We played nearly 5hrs straight too so had plenty of time to practice as this person only ever picked Rachel. In the 20 years of me playing its the first time it actually felt unfair.
She's high damage, yes, but very slow. She relies on her throws to keep you guessing because she doesnt have much mixups on her strings and a lot of her buttons are unsafe. With your experience in DoA, you should download this character fast and know what to expect as her gameplan and move list isnt complicated.
If Rachel is beating you after that, she's winning with fundamentals because that's how she has to win.
her appearance doesnt suddenly make myself getting stomped over by some random newbies nor some bandwagon high-rankers who never played rachel before
shes strong and annoying, but i can say that to most of the characters in the game lol
i do get stomped by people who already trained her in DOA5LR before, which in that case they may or may not already stomping me using other characters anyway
her new voice sucks. im waiting on the mod that changes it back.
That aside she has some VERY POWERFUL tools, not denying that, plus she's a heavy weight, killing several combos from other characters.
Other than that, she's not exactly OP, I think it's more a matter of people having to learn how to defend against her.
When you look at the technical data all her guard breaks suck and get her max +1 (there's one on +2 but it's not realistically useable). The Punch guard break actually leave her at -1 (MINUS!).
She has a nice 13 frames mid kick, but other than that she doesn't exactely have high frames on her other moves, quite the other way around.
Once you manage to land at least one hit, she has several blows that leave her with big advantage on hit.
I dunno, it's too early to say anything, but I wouldn't say OP at all, quite the other way around.
Granted, compared to other games and despite the obvious difference in strength in the various DoA6 characters, I'd say that overall they're pretty close to each other.
I've seen much larger differences in other games, truly.
Arguments over who is op are thorny.
Some people say hayabusa is balanced. Crazy. There’s literally nothing that KT could do to make a character overpowered by fan consensus. It also matters who you play as. Some characters are very difficult for specific characters.
I tried ranked again for the first time in two weeks. Found her pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ strong. I don’t know her though. I started with 6.
KT usually makes Caucasian chicks strong, so I wouldn’t be surprised if she was op. The reverse of U.S. made games.
She’s loud, seems to have many fast, safe mids. Rachel players also held my ♥♥♥♥ a bit.
She’s pretty hot, so better than the male characters, most of whom are not only op, but aesthetically stupid looking, and look genetically-challenged.
Nerf that heifer
