The fist thing I do is insure MBlur is OFF. Surely there is an option to turn it off. If not, then that would be about as "IDIOTIC" as they come. Almost as bad not supporting SLI on a game advertised for 4K...

I was under the impression there was not even an option to turn on motion blur. I'll find out in 2 hours though

Motion blur and depth of field both give me pretty harsh nausea if I leave them enabled. And they look terrible to me anyway. first step OFF OFF ......

I have it on Uplay and just checked no motion blur option at all under display or graphics.

turn off particle efect? Sometimes it's merged with blur and other things

I don't think Origins had motion blue option did it? Either way this game has even less options than that game. 🤦🏾‍♂️

I think it might be have a editable config for the game engine. It might not be using the unreal engine is it?

Oh it's using it's Anvil engine for Origins, so motion blur might not be located in the options, it might mean you are required to use a re-shader to mod it to be removed.

I know this post is old, but I noticed in the ini file on the new game Valhalla it has a MotionBlur= option.

So knowing this we can apply it to this file in Documents
"Documents\Assassin's Creed Odyssey\ACOdyssey.ini"

Add MotionBlur=0 in between Lighting and Rain

Thanks to your insight and information, I was able to re-enable Motion Blur in oddysey (because they had removed it on PC). Now the movement of camera and all is much more visually smooth, far less judder on my high hz monitor. Thanks!

(and this isnt sarcasm... I actually WANTED to enable Motion Blur in this game cause it looked terrible without it on... rare case)
