How do you get this achievement?

Could you add a V-Sync option?

Just want to be sure, is this just a random achievement that will unlock while I'm just idling away with the miners on screen doing work? Or is there another trigger for this? I've gotten all the artifacts already.

Using the mage and going for the 10,000 runes achievement, does 1 rune count as a completed spell or a completed circle? Progress feels slow for this achievement, and would like to know if I should be upgrading for more circles for more runes or keep the mage at a low level for faster circle completion. Thanks!...
