Can't even complete my first building

I just don't get it. I'm playng on realistic and have plenty of free buildings to get up and running (gas stations, vehicle depots, construction offices, and aggregate storages), but when I try to build a food factory that requires concrete, gravel, and asphalt, that's where I get lost. I have a dumper running gravel to my agg. storage which is great but I have no clue where to put the asphalt, or concrete I'm bringing in from customs, so they just do endless loops with filled trucks. What am I missing her...

Suggestion: Rendering of Substation build preview

First of all, apologies if this was already suggested(it probably was), but building a substation in a busy city is not amazing because it becomes hard to see with all the connection lines to buildings. My suggestion is to render the lines with a gradient transparency- so that when there is many connection lines, the longer ones start to fade from their middle to the Center so that visibility of the substation and road connection is better- and the connections to buildings further out will be still visib...

Cars don't seem to decay or die in crashes. So there doesn't seem much reason to keep the dealership active. It's not clear what the benefit of the population having cars is.

This game is a blend - Cities Skylines mixed with Transport Fever 2, but the Industries DLC from Cities Skylines makes up about 80% of the game. It's more hands-down than Cities Skylines in the city building part though, with you having to micromanage basically everything, from purchasing ambulances for your hospitals to buying cars for your citizens to use, as they don't just *spawn* with one.

If you like slow paced, nation building, OCD infuriating, sometimes very annoying features this game is for you. If you would rather build a gigantic city play Cities Skylines (I, because II sucks). If you are just into the logistics part, play Transport Fever 2.

I can't say enough about this game. If you are a fan of city builder games and possess an interest in Soviet history, this game will be an instant favorite. It is very relaxing to play when I want to unwind. You can make it as easy or hard as you want. The developers truly care about this game and listen to player input. There are also a ton of excellent mods available in the workshop designed by creative and dedicated fans. This game can get big and take on a life of its own. Watching all the activity of your city is a very satisfying feeling.
