I really wanted to like this game, I tried really hard to just re-do the first few levels over and over with different varying degrees of machines, staff, etc. It really is such a time waste, the upgrade system is just a big grind holding you back from experiencing the real game. For the first 5-10 hours expect to just be restarting the level over and over after about 30 minutes to gain stars for your next research... it makes no sense. It seems a lot of thought and depth went into the arcade systems, the payments systems, etc. but to turn around and lock most of it behind a grind simulator is such a waste of talent. This has so much potential... just not in it's current state.

Also the first few levels are super disproportinate comparative to the rest of them, you get shoved in this closet sized arcade on both and are given loans early, easier people to please due to lack of room to decorate etc, and then you go to level 3 and it feels like the game's difficulty was cranked about fourty times harder. Idk.. something just doesn't click
