Alright but seriously devs. It's time. Lol c'mon, that thread was from 4 years ago, step it up and publish on Steam. If I have to go grouse up interest myself I will but this and Syder Reloaded not being on Steam is frankly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at this point. Much respect devs but you know how it is. Currently my choices are to play a very old version of this game on better hardware or play a better version on hardware that will cap me to 30 FPS (could be wrong). Just take care of it already. Are we going to get this version on steam anytime soon? It seems like an upgrade to the original game, and it would be a problem if you gave consoles the shiny new updated version while leaving the PC playerbase in the dust.

On initial game load there was a bunch of direct D3D errors listed and the game locked up during loading. Was able to Ctrl Alt Del out to task manager and end process. Tried again and game started with no errrors and played the initial opening dialogue. At that point game asked if I'd like to view the tutorial. Clicking on YES or NO does nothing though. The selections do highlight when the mouse is hovered over them. Also, cannot hold down ESC during initial dialogue as it does nothing. Any ideas ?...

With the latest Proton (Steam Play) beta, which has to be enabled in the Steam client, the game now works flawlessly ! :-) Tested with the latest NVIDIA drivers and a distribution based on Ubuntu 18.04 (Mint). :-)

That's the error i get on windows 11 pro 64 with 32gb ram and an XFX RX 7900 XT Ultra that has 20gb ram on a Western digital Black SN850X 4000gb. It worked fine the first time i tried it when i bought it but i cant remember if i was still using the Nvidia Titan x Pascal 12gb i replaced with this 20gb radeon card or this one. Probably this newer card. A few indi games dont work on it for some reason and it doesn't look like anyones gonna be updating or fixing it....
