Should I use it on the rambling rose bows that give 10% HP growth for female bow users? Or the spear that gives 10% defense growth rate for female gryphon riders? Doreynne I think it's called?...

I saw on the internet that you can get the statue from the cave then talk to the old man to get Sheela's bow but when I go to the cave after recruiting Zaeiyd the yurt is closed so I can't talk to the old man anymore. Is my game bugged?
