A woodcutting area needs to be set near the coal huts. If the actual woodcutters are clearing the trees, there probably aren't many to spare for the coal workers and that would be why the low coal amount. They don't use stored wood.

The service counter at the tavern needs to have beer set as the drink. I can't think of any other reason it wouldn't be getting transported.

You should have a PUBLIC LOUNGE (how much space) and SERVICE COUNTER (how much storage and market access) both with an employee each. And as the first reply stated that you must select resource in the service counter. if you have additional service counters in one building you have to hire multiple employees and select a resource for each service counter.
market tenders have a distance limit, and a granary is required close to Your Tavern, set to stock maximum. If the breweries are too far from the tavern ('market').

Tavern workers assigned to the service counter collect the beer (or wine or berry brew) from the closest production location or assigned granary slot. The closer the better.

I don't think there's a limit to how far they can collect from (though I'm not sure on that one), but you don't want it taking too long. I always have a granary nearby and set it to stock maximum.
