EDIT: That was sometime early season 3. Not sure if there is newer info out there.
but i would like this in the form of survival/ as bots first and having bio equivalents to the mechs
then after a long enough time in survival to work out the kinks maybe move them into PvP
cause balancing around 2 factions especially a new one thats added in later can be nightmarish.
and the time it would take to make all new animations and skins for it on top of balancing the current mechs just to fight itself
idk how i feel about a non-mech unit joining the mech roster tho. unless its ultra light chaff in the form of infantry like the guys in the unit modification tab. would make sense to have them for buildings tho if they can garrison them.
their techs could be built around fortifying those buildings more and adding weapons to the unit like rockets. or AA guns when inside a building
