Like it legit blows my mind, I do a sabertooth start... i get smashed to the point that i stopped doing sabertooth starts...

then I fight an opponent that goes a sabertooth start and they stomp me

i know its a skill issue... obviously... but it seriously feels like my units get a debuff just for being my units

yeah your at the point where your gonna start facing people who do know what they are doing to a degree so old strats may not work anymore and you will need to take quite a few L's to get a foothold of the new meta's around 1000 MMR

i know it sucks to go on loss streaks ive had my own at like 12 losses in a row
but as long as you can take away something from the match you'll be golden

thats the main problem. i dont feel like im taking anything away. I am pretty much done at this point. ive lost all but one game today. The only reason im still playing is I havent found a new game yet

Uninstalled the game so id stop playing. theres no reason to play a game thats making me want to throw my keyboard

If you wanted to improve this forum is a good place to ask tips from other, more experient players, but In what you are saying is basically that you are not smart enough to play this game and are ragequitting in frustration.

Why exactly should anyone care? Why are you posting in these forums?

sharing it anyway since this deployment works for me pretty well with adjustments depending on what im facing and what spec i start with.
its more of a titan setup so just this wont really carry you to victory
but i find its a pretty adaptable start even without using titans but it is really weak to wraiths

but thats fair the game can be frustrating and theres alot to it more then what some people give it credit for
it took me many games before it finally really clicked

and your mood can impact the game pretty significantly so if your already at the point of physical anger its best to just leave the game for awhile.
if you do come back there's a few people in the forums who will try to help and give some tips

just ask and give a pic of what the situation is and most players here can help point out any areas that could use improvement

Well basically till ~ 700-800 mmr nobody has even the slightest clue what they are doing
nobody knows anything and people do all kind of ridiculous things :)
THats okay as long as everyone has fun.

~ 800mmr some people start to have some concepts but are still super super bad.
at this bracket a lot of people have allready played like 70-120h
Now you managed to climb into that bracket and for the first time face people
that instead of doing everything wrong only do 50-70% of their actions wrong and 30-50% of their actions are correct and do make sense.
and that might feel like a hughe wall at first.

~ 1200/1300mmr is where people start to mainly have most of the basics down to an okay degree. Thats where people have ~ 150h+ and know at a basic level how the game works



if you start to learn about the basics of "chaff wars" i promise you that you basically cant be lower than 1200mmr ever.
its not possible.

So thats the first thing i would try to learn.

Which chaff units and how many to buy and place at each round.
you learn this from replays of tournaments or streams

What I did when I hit the wall at 1200-1300, I started looking at the top games, following them for a few days to see what tactics and responses the top players use - made me up my game - now I'm stuck at 1400-1500 and need to up my game again. Thinking that I'll do what I did last time - spend some time seeing what other people do.

Also what truly makes the game easier is basically building Mustangs whenever you feel like building tanks or Arclights.

I have said it long time ago but it is true for me this season and last season aswell.

I love tanks and always try to make sledgehammers core work but i just cant :(
Building Mustangs as core unit is probably what gave me the most mmr boost ever.

Mustang + Fortress
Mustang + Hacker
Mustang + Scorpion
Mustang + Burst Farseer

Tanks and Arclights are bad in most situations and need very specific conditions to shine :(
Mustangs are basically never bad :)
whenever your head says you should build tanks or arcs try to build mustangs instead !
This alone will give you probably 200mmr + boost

350 mmr start and already quitting at 850...
maybe this game is not for you)

honestly I agree with you which is a shame because i really like this game.

Just play 2v2 mode :^)
