Galdin Quay interior bug?

whenever Noctis and his friends enter the building at the Quay, the lighting turns all super dark and every character shows up as these black metallic beings with red glowing eyes...

looks beyond dumb and i know for a fact it's not supposed to be like that.

really pulled me out of the game. any idea what may cause this or if this has been an issue before maby there is some well known fix or anything?

It's been an issue in PC version since demo. I don't know of any fix but I haven't looked hard for one either.

It's odd because it seems largely directional and time of day related for me - like it's the worst in the early mornings under "blue" daylight, while standing in the hotel and facing more towards the ocean/pier. Other times it's just overly a bit too dark but none of the weird skin/eye color effects.

It happened to me only once when I first reached this place.

Never got a problem since.

hmmm, strange. odd that it has not been fixed with a patch, but maby that's just beyond them for some reason. And it seems like a good portion of players on PC have experienced it.

I'll try to look around for things when i can. So far though, it seems like Quay is the one place that has this issue.

so maby i'll just try to ignore it and keep on playing :D i don't want it to be an obsruction in my enjoyment :D

Yeah, just ignore it, since this place isn't the most important.

Yes i get that ; It's not a bug, it's a feature thing. but for me, personally, it takes me out of the realm i am trying to escape into. it breaks the 4th wall in a way that screws with me...but i also realize that all need to do is just adjust my perspective.

bugs can absolutely be lovely.
