i got this computer so i can go hard on my games and now its like i cant play the games i like. I could play this game just fine for the most part on my old system no real issues. Now i cant play it at all. This is just plain crazy.
Now I'm not guaranteeing that you are seeing that issues here, just that it is a possibility. Again i'd make sure you check your driver's are up to date as well
Put the game in windowed mode and it stopped randomly crashing for me.
Intel's 13/14th gen processors - Changing the Windows power profile down to eco mode under volts the processor and stops it from going into boost mode. This keeps the processor from drawing too much wattage and crashing the program without warning. So my 5ghz processor is now running at like 3ghz but that's more than enough to run this game.
If you get "Videocard out of Ram" error for UE5 games... it's the same problem.
There is something with this game and action camera angles that seems to trigger the crash.
Just remember to go into device manager and un-select allow windows to power down my network card to save energy.... because it won't wake it up when you use the PC after it idles down.
After the power profile change I can run the game, alt tab out, use 2nd monitor and or just leave the game run for hours without issue.
Hopefully this fixes your issue.
(there are bios updates for power issue with intel 13/14th gen processors if you haven't checked lately).
