ModTek Linux
Did anyone else loose the ability to use ModTek related mods? Something updated recently on my linux box and now i can only play vanilla. It's probably an linux update, since the mod files haven't changed and the game files haven't either. Just wondering.

Sounds like they did to LINUX what SSG did to MS' Win-10+ on LOTRO a couple months back. We had to alter Sound INI files in the OS and Game to get the game to work without crashing.

Recently, I couldn't get BTA3062 to run natively, but via Proton works reasonably well.

I reached out to the current primary maintainer, haven't heard back yet, but another team member who runs Linux said the following:

"
yeah, we aware, sonething changed in steam, and as that upate is getting rolled to distros doorstop stops working
temporary solution is to start steam with -compat-force-slr off
"

This did indeed work for me. Hopefully it is temporary.

So this temp solution has been working since suggested, but is it still needed?
