The dull dialogue just drags on and on at a glacial pace. I'm sure voice acting (generously calling it that) was a huge deal when this game originally came out, but sitting for minutes at a time watching polygons drone on hasn't aged well. The game also crashed when I was trying to quit.

Classic game my parents accidentally got me as a kid 20+ years ago that I replayed now as an adult. Definitely is a bit dated in gameplay, which is pretty typical for these types of games that are this old. But is a great adventure game that I think is worth giving a go, even now

Legendary Point and Click adventure, probably THE or ONE OF THE BEST! Absolute Masterpiece and probably the "Grandmother" of the 80% of P&C Genre and storytelling games at all.
Soundtrack is amazing, I have it directly from the Artist (Bjørn Arve Lagim) somewhere on my old HDDs, yeah HDD, waaay back then...Jukebox songs in the Fringe Cafe were one of my favourite tracks! Never can forget the "Dragon"`s Track. No.1
"The Longest Journey 1" and "Sanitarium" are holding forever a special place in my old school heart!

Verdict: 9/10 Masterpiece and classic! *1 Point less for the numerous bugs the game had to struggle back then, no idea if they are fixed now.
