Hello all, my issue is rather weird and I cannot seem to find anyone else that has been having this problem. While I am playing DMC5, sometimes (seemingly randomly) after exiting a pause screen, starting a new mission, or loading an area after a cutscene, the game will stop reading my controller. I have no idea what is causing this issue, but it happens fairly often. Sometimes exiting the game and restarting it fixes it, and sometimes it doesn't. When the game stops reading the controller inputs, Steam still CAN read its inputs, as I can still access the Big Picture menu while the game is running but the game itself just does not acknowledge the inputs.
For the most part, I have played this game with a PS4 controller wired into my computer, but to try and fix the issue I have tried playing the game with my PS4 through bluetooth because I thought the wire was at fault but that did not fix the issue. I also tried using my Switch Pro Controller, but it still randomly happened while using that controller.
If anyone has any idea what might be wrong and has any idea how to fix this, please let me know! I love this game so much but this issue is really hindering my ability to play. Thank you!
