I tried on the hardest difficulty and the earliest date I can get US to isolationism is April 1987 . Is anyone able to do so on an earlier date? If so what is the trick? How does this actually reflect on gamepla? I'm aware that investing a lot (like, 100s sort of lot) is a gamekiller. But how much is "too much investment"? I usually change the investment amount at most by 20/turn/thing, is that too much?
