I tried on the hardest difficulty and the earliest date I can get US to isolationism is April 1987 . Is anyone able to do so on an earlier date? If so what is the trick? My trick is to choose Trotsky, open neocolonism right up, and stop selling oil abroad in the oil event. I am not able to defeat US any faster. I recorded a video on how to do this. The load on the main menu doesn't work at all, which would be fine except the phone one doesn't either. If I try to save it always says "month 0" regardless of how far in I am. If I try to load, it's in Russian and some of the save positions are missing. Is there anything I can do? I've tried redownloading/verifying the game multiple times....
