When playing FINAL FANTASY XII THE ZODIAC AGE using a FreeSync monitor, you may experience the game running at a faster than expected speed.
In order to correct this issue, please access your monitor’s settings (likely via the NVIDIA or AMD control panel) and set the monitor refresh rate to a maximum of 60Hz while playing the game.

Patch 1.0.4.0 has now been released for FINAL FANTASY XII The Zodiac Age.

This a follow-up to the early announcement we posted on 14th February 2018, which was entitled as “Issues with Monitors using G-SYNC”.

We requested NVIDIA to investigate the issue and they have come back with the following report.

“This is an issue that can occur in games on fixed-FPS such as FINAL FANTASY XII THE ZODIAC AGE, due to the current design specifications of G-SYNC.
Please disable G-SYNC by following the steps as specified below.”

<How to fix the issue>
Step1: NVIDIA control panel-> Manage 3D Settings -> Open “Program Settings” tab

Step2: Select FINAL FANTASY XII THE ZODIAC AGE from “Select the program to customize”

Step3: Set the monitor technology to the specified fixed refresh rate in “Specify the settings for this program”

Patch 1.0.2.0 has now been released for FINAL FANTASY XII The Zodiac Age.

Update contents:

• Fixes to issues where an error occurs while saving game data, preventing saving and loading from being carried out correctly.
  
• Minor bug fixes.

When playing this game with a monitor that uses G-SYNC, the following issue has been found when the NVIDIA settings are activated:

・When changing the ‘Vsync’ in the “Graphic Settings” config within the game, operations can become unresponsive.

We are currently working on this problem, but in the meantime please try the following:
