They need to rework the scaling system or remove it entirely.
I understand what they TRIED to do with this system. but it is downright atrocious. The fact that you can grind for an x and y amount of hours only for it to be all for naught is both infuriating and disappointing. this game should not be reminding me of diablo 4, and if you played it you'd know how terrible the scaling in that game is. You HAVE to reward players for investing a great amount of hours in your game, not punish them.

Most games you grind to improve your stats over enemies, in this game you grind to get worse.

A tip (which should ideally not even have to be considered) is to make a new character and level them up to 20, then pass your gear to them. They'll still be getting worse as they level but at least you'll be starting from peak strength while you continue to improve the only thing that actually makes you stronger, your gear.

I also find it funny that the exp boosting hat comes with the penalty of having no stats/set bonus, the exp boost is a penalty enough that I probably wouldn't wear it even if it had best in slot stats, If they made you gain zero exp and came with no stats I would probably wear it

Yeah there shouldn't be scaling after 20. Eventually your gear will cap out but you can get like 1150 levels or something. The set bonuses don't seem strong enough for the most part to make up for it.

Maybe an additional difficulty after you start stomping Ragewind but Nightmare shouldn't be that.

Really?
I found the set bonuses are the big difference to taking on nightmare, esp bog and beyond.

For example, the Ranger's poison ability is great AOE for mobs, with set bonuses I found it made a huge difference
and don't get me started on the other classes like Rogue void damage increases and Wizards fire/flame.

What i can say is I noticed the heroism attributes can help a lot if used wisely and Ragewind Nightmare becomes more survivable solo from lev 350 upwards with 3 to 5 star gear but still rock hard!
Gear only caps at level 20? Sorry am new an this surprised me.
