I've tried 3 times and everytime i pick up the axe it disappears and I can't break the closet. Anyone else having this issue?

I bough the game on epic - installed and opened - all great but after clicking "welcome" nothing is happening and the game seems to freeze. If I minimalize it to a start bar it won't respond anymore and need to close it by using Task Manager. I reinstalled it already 100 times, nothing helps, any ideas what could I do to actually play it?...
