My Two Cent Review
This game originally came out in 1997 which was 4 years before I was born so I missed out on playing this game and didn't hear about it until a year or two ago when I was looking for unique RTS games to play. I watched some gameplay footage of this game on youtube and decided to purchase it and play it for myself to see if I liked it. Upon completing the tutorial it's clear this game is unlike any other RTS game I ever played. It may have similar mechanics with movements but that's about it. Having to actually develop property and answer to a housing authority is something I never thought I would be doing in an RTS game but here we are. What I can say about this game is it's wacky in a lot way where you can build buildings such as a killer clown house, or a hippies home and have them go and pester your competition to help give you an edge. There are also random goals that pop up through gameplay that if you don't complete that will either be counted against you or make your lose the game overall. There are also taxes you have to pay every so often for everything you build which result in a game over if you fail to pay them within a certain window of time. Your units that you control are construction crews early game which allow you to build things and even fend off other units from neighboring property developers. To make more of your units you have to rent out housing properties and have the renters set to making more workers instead of generating money or having them make more renters. Surprisingly this game does support multiplayer and it does work for 60% of the time depending on where your friends are located. If you do talk your friends into this game good luck getting them to stick with it because the UI in this game is very unhelpful and takes time to remember what everything is and does. I've played this game for 8 hours and I still find myself getting lost in what button does what sometimes which is a problem. All in all it's not a bad game in RTS standards but it's not a good game either.

The Value Of The Game
30 dollars for a game that came out in 1997 is steep. Especially one while unique isn't well known and great hit to be honest. If you are a fan of RTS games in general and just collect them all then I would suggest waiting for this to go on sale. Just because it 's a unique game doesn't make it a good game.

The graphics are simple, the humor is twisted, and the solution to most problems?
Throw a healthy mix of hippies, hooligans, and mobsters on the problem and it will work out somehow.... Just trust me! 😎
