I've been playing the game long enough to get all three initial characters trained to the 500 level. I recently defeated the naga. Every game following the defeat of the naga I lose 35 bronze upon return to the town, regardless of whether I'm knocked out or escape. This is game-breaking because I haven't updated the foundry (because I haven't found a ZALIZI scroll) and my max bronze is 80, so I can have no more than 45 upon return. Is this a linear rpg with a cohesive story, or is it more open-ended with a smaller story, but with more replay-value? The game is on my wishlist, and I'm just curious if the game has a narrative that makes the game work best in as few sittings as possible. Or it's more like a sandbox, where few hours at a time will do just fine....
