"Impulse of War" is a dead and abandoned cash shop infested train wreck of a game, intended to gouge PC gamers through a P2W cash shop. The developer, and the gamers, gave up on this in 2017, it's dead and has no player base. This just rests on Steam to pollute the space with more garbage that indie devs have to compete with to get visibility.

The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here.

This isn't really free as the game is infested with mobile app store like microtransactions. This is a consumer hostile model that we don't need to see on PC. It's deceptively priced to gouge gamers, and that's a reason in itself to avoid this.

Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it?

Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
