It's a neat retro game. Feels like Halo and Red Faction Guerilla (without the geomod).
If the price wasn't 30€ I'd say grab it. At <5€ it'll be fine if you're looking for a Halo-like a game. lol
Graphics is actually quite good, especially for it's age. The 4090 runs at ~600Mhz @ <30% load, it's ridiculous.

The gameplay is fun and they put quite some effort into everythig. It's just...old and **too expensive** (29,99€) .

I bought Aliens: Colonial Marines Collection because I love Aliens and hate myself.

Within five minutes, I realized this wasn’t a video game — it was a social experiment to see how far human patience can stretch before snapping like a wet pool noodle. The AI is so bad, I saw a Xenomorph get stuck on a doorframe and try to moonwalk out of it. It failed. Then it died. From shame, I assume.

This game somehow makes a terrifying, acid-blooded alien species about as scary as a sock puppet with stage fright.

The story? It reads like fanfiction written during a NyQuil overdose. Characters you love show up just long enough to ruin your memories of them. One guy delivers dialogue like he’s trying to win an award for “Most Dramatic Use of the Word ‘Oorah’.”

Let’s talk about the bugs. Not the Xeno kind. The game-breaking, immersion-destroying, “why is this marine T-posing into space?” kind. There’s a typo in the AI code (no, really) that broke the alien behavior. A single typo. I paid $29.99 to be chased by confused Roombas in latex.

The “Collection” part is extra insulting — it’s like someone found a flaming dumpster, added more trash to it, and called it a gift basket.

The only fear I felt was realizing I couldn’t refund it after two hours of trying to find the fun. Spoiler: It was never there.

Rest is a crime against Ridley Scott and basic game design.

Can't deny it's an old game. The story is actually good, however the animations and the AI are horrible. You also have the option to play the campaign in coop and you can find certain people to play the versus mode too.
