Nioh showing controller controls instead of keyboard and mouse
I got the game because mouse and keyboard was supported, but it tells me to use controls from a controler so it's really hard to figure out each key. Is there an option I missed to fix this?
Thanks.

Do you have a controller plugged in?

Sorry, but the controller layout is the only option.

I'm not sure if I want to refund it and wait, or just wait. Really want to play the game though

There could be mods to change the prompts. Have you searched for it?

... Just go into Options and look at the controls.

I fail to see what's hard about that.

Take notice of what controller key they want you to press to do whatever it is you want to do. Then, go to the kbm options and find it under the controller bind (left most column). Next, rebind your kbm bind to whatever button you want and that will represent the button they are asking you to press. You just gotta remember your controls after that.

There aren't any and it's highly unlikely there would be any in the future either.

I did the same for Nioh, sucked it up and bought an xbox one controller, never used controller before, but can't complain.

Yeah you seem to fail that indeed. Even if that wasn't really hard to understand. If you've got controls displayed on screen, it's for a reason : better immersion, better tutorial.
Or they wouldn't bother showing the controller input onscreen neither.
