W Game

This is a certified hood classic.

Playing through all the games in order, this is my favorite one yet. Almost the whole installment takes place in Rome, which you renovate and explore over the course of the game.

The mechanics have been largely expanded and improved upon from the previous installments, most notably the kill streak combos and using recruited assassins. There's some new tricks to discover, and even a training simulation to practice your skills in. The game also adds a very nice factions mechanic, allowing you to manage & improve allies, as well as accomplish challenges. You also get a base of operations, like the last game, for all your collectibles and what not.

The environmental ambiance and diversity of the NPC animations makes this game more immersive than the previous installments. A very well done action/adventure sandbox with some Tomb Raider and GTA vibes thrown in there. The story was beautifully done and I spent a lot more time in this game than I thought I would. I definitely recommend this game, but would suggest playing Assassin's Creed II first, as this is the second part in a trilogy.

Good game. Shorter than expected, but it is still a good game. Certain events and achievements (like ranking up a faction) won't work/will be harder because of progressing in the story mode. You'll need the french so you can shoot the archers off of their guard posts since that's where you'll mainly find them at.

Also, technical problems may occur and a guide would be a good idea. One of the war machine levels may require you to change your screen size or else the controls won't work.

Undoubtedly the best Assassin´s Creed. Best setting and best character. It is not very long compared to modern iterations, but that is not a problem. The only bad (really awful) parts are the modern day ones, but that is the same in every Assassin´s Creed.

not hating on the game but on ubisoft, literally soft ass company like i hate ubisoft i hope ac move on another company.

this is a good game, my favorite from the series, but until ubisoft learns it's lesson that IS coming from the FLOP that will be AC shadows, I have to give this game and all of there other games a negative review.
