Mouse very slow

I have my mouse sensitivity turned to the fastest setting, v-sync on and the x and y sensitivity turned all the way up to ten. Yet it's still very slow turning the mouse around, playing this game hurts my wrist. How do I fix this?

Also looking for a fix... had to change my DPI settings, which might be doable in your mouse settings... is a pain though, as I hadn't needed to change it for over 5 years, and needing to change my mouse speed just for this game is annoying.
