NIGHT IN THE WOODS is a game i've already beaten. back in 2016, when i was still in high school. i remember liking it but i don't really remember what i had to say about it, if anything. coming back to it was something i knew i had to do, but i didn't expect this game to feel so genuinely relevant to how i had been feeling for a long while. living in one of the many godforsaken old dying small towns in america for my entire life. this is possum springs, to me. possum springs is all of these places and at the same time, in a way. playing this now in 2024 is perhaps the most relevant to me it will maybe ever be somehow, or maybe it'll be relevant to me for the rest of my life. i dont know. there's not a way of knowing, but at least i can try to deal with it, probably.
