Hello all. I have just finished the tutorial and about to start on the first campaign. Could anybody give me some suggestions for party composition when playing rise of the rune lords for the first time? Cheers

I've read through several guides, reduced my party to three characters (fighter, rogue and druid) and I still have trouble getting far. I've managed to finish the first chapter, but keep getting stuck at the first adventure of the second chapter. I encounter the central villain many times, but because I am unable to close all the locations, he always gets away! Is this game supposed to be so frustrating? I have around 3k gold and trying to determine what to buy and when. I already spent 2k on buffs and runes. But probably not cost efficient? Maybe the runes are?

I create a party but the game hangs trying to start playing. My store purchases are missing. Bah!

Not sure if I just have bad party for it (barb, Rogue, Wiz), but I don't seem to have enough time for 'trouble in Sandpoint'. Many times and can't get past. Rolls are well below avg which doesn't help. Not going to scream game is rigged nonsense so maybe just have to keep trying. Starting to lose some fun and feeling like work to get past this one. The reward system is a bit poor - mostly crap and so little gold. So if you spend on runes and buffs and don't finish just eventually will be broke. Which is th...
