I've read through several guides, reduced my party to three characters (fighter, rogue and druid) and I still have trouble getting far. I have around 3k gold and trying to determine what to buy and when. I already spent 2k on buffs and runes. But probably not cost efficient? Maybe the runes are?

Several of my armors state that a character can recharge when the hand is reset, but that never seems to be an option. I have tried clicking the reset button at the top right rather than the "do the next thing" button on the right margin; I have watched for an opportunity when the armor was in my hand unused, when it was discarded, buried, or banished during a turn, and when it was already in the discard pile (a long shot that I didn't expect to work). Not sure if I just have bad party for it (barb, Rogue, Wiz), but I don't seem to have enough time for 'trouble in Sandpoint'. Many times and can't get past. Rolls are well below avg which doesn't help. Not going to scream game is rigged nonsense so maybe just have to keep trying. Starting to lose some fun and feeling like work to get past this one. How is this card any good ? All it does it let you examine top card of location deck and IF it's non-villain monster you can encounter it. Seems very very weak. Oh and you have to discard it as well. Maybe if it was a reveal then it would be decent card.
