When the game is launched, it crashes before it reaches the title screen. I'm using a very adequate computer for this game, except the fact that I'm running Windows 8, which is most likely the cause of the problem. So frustrating. guys the game doesnt work, it opens two windows and makes my second monitors aspect ratio wonky, i try to press on the window and it bugs out and closes, any ideas why? please help <3

Hey, I have no high hopes in getting this fixed, as there's no reference in the whole web about this issue. I was having the 3D error, which I fixed with the regular fix (256 color, run as administrator, compatibility mode PLUS, setting only one monitor (no matter what I did, nothing worked until I disabled my second monitor, don't ask me why)). Well, I own a lovely sony vaio with windows 8 64 bit. I have a darling Radeon HD 7650M in this baby girl and somehow, I can run anything else that requires 3D acceleration BUT Post Mortem.. And I'm not happy about this. my drivers are up to date, I've tried running the program and steam as an admin and in compatibility mode but to no such luck to fix my issue.
