Sometimes, I, too, become a little too wrapped up in watching amateur Halo 3 Team Slayer matches on Youtube to qualify as a functional human being.

The few moments of lucidity bestowed upon us by the short delay of autoplay have become our means of development, and over the past half-rotation the ace team of scientists and engineers assigned to this grand project have scrounged together the few improvements requested by the community -- with some visual enhancements to boot.

PERFECTIONS ADDED TO THE MOST PERFECT GAME OF ALL TIME:

Added mouse movement for the player-controlled ship!!
Fixed the too-fast game speed for monitors with a greater refresh rate than 60 Hz!!
Changed one of the sidebar decorations to be more faithful to the source material!!
Changed the way new ships are unlocked!!
Made level transitions far more stylish, and added a new effect that appears when the player is close to an enemy!!
Added more visual flair to the intro and main menu!!
Tweaked some upgrade functions and descriptions!!
Improved the ship selection bar!!
Remade the sprites for the mouse pointer and the normal-hard mode button!!

Please Fix the Controller Support

The game detects my wired 360 pad and defaults all the controls to it except for movement, which I can use on either the keyboard or pad. Exit, restart, burst, they're all on the gamepad. I'd rather use my pad but the movement is slippery, like gaming on ice, and without being able to set the dead zone sometimes I go flying to the left because my stick is a bit worn. It wouldn't be a problem if the plus pad works, but the game simply doesn't know it exists. Any chance of a fix? I really like what I've...

Hecka Anniversary!!

It's been approximately 5.64 rotations since the initial unchaining of the supreme gaming experience that is A Shooty Bit, and since then about half of the known universe has been able to revel in its blast-fast action.

There will be an update in the coming 0.83 rotations that will aim to mend some of the issues that have been thus far reported, like lack of mouse support and wacky framerates.

FPS problem

The game speed is tied to the refresh rate of the user's monitor. It look like it was designed for 60 FPS based on the trailer, but on a 120 Hz monitor the game moves so fast that it is unplayable. I tried limiting the FPS to 60 using Nvidia Inspector, but the game ignores it. I assume that any other FPS limiting program would have the same result. If you have any way of updating the game so that it is locked at 60 FPS regardless of the monitor's refresh, that would be useful. Otherwise fewer people will...

Settings?

I just got this game, and it is AMAZING, but I feel that the controls are very slippery. A gamepad makes it a little better, but it makes it so I can't be precise, and continually drift into a bullet or enemy unless I am continually moving. One thing that could fix it is a "precision button" or something of the sort, that you press and your movement slows down (not everything, just your move speed) Otherwise, great game! can't wait to get past the first boss :P...
