I didnt think I'd end up disliking this but it wasn't good.

Combat kind of boils down to ATB and if you can get your combos off within first three turns. Talismans themselves aren't really beneficial at all. A lot of them do the same but the really expensive ones dont add command slots for your tech (magic) and skills.

Speaking of skills, the game really has no rhyme or reason as to why some skills can only go on some characters and vice versa.

Plot itself was inspired by Chrono Trigger and presents itself as a time travel situation but its so poorly done and tacked on at the end. Bravely default did it better and even then neither hold a candle to Chrono Trigger.

Environmental design is alright, but the melancholic piano score on top of the snowy biome and no change just make it feel monotonous and boring. The game's pacing feels off with when and where you meet characters and the climax itself is just not that engaging.

There's no map and it can be confusing to see where you can actually go. Sidequests are complete waste of time, there are no ultimate weapons. Not to mention there's a few characters who just have surface level connection including the heroine and the MC. They just dont explain things, and its not for a sake of interpretation. they just dont even go into things that would've padded this world out and made it feel more accessible.

Overall I recommend against it but if you get it for free or <$10 thats doable too. Straight 5/10
