New Map Suggestion: The Mansion
I know it's not canon, but for the sake of this game, I think it's something fresh and offers new playstyles.

So as you all know, when playing as Jason, when using the Sense ability indoors, it nullifies the Counselor's exact position. That is the mechanic that I would like to play around in this 'Mansion' map. I'm thinking a very large house with many hiding spots. The kinds where you hold your breath (OMG I HOPE HE DIDN'T SEE ME) and the hide behind doors/separators in the corner hiding spots.

I'm imagining variations of rooms, maybe ones with long hallways/not so many hiding spots. A room with MANY hiding spots, but with one entrance/exit. A huge dining hall which is perfect for playing 'Mary-Go-Round' with Jason before you run out of stamina/Jason shifts.

Thunderstorms and heavy rain for ambient noise. Fancy lighting effects that shine through windows and curtains.

Foot pings would still be heard, and because it's an old mansion, every door you open creaks. Random panels of the floorboard creaks.

Methods of escape could be repairing the front mansion door:
Let's just say it's controlled mechanically/electronically and its a big heavy door. I'm thinking it requires 2 batteries and a lever that requires you to mash E to successfully pull (easier for Strength characters).

This makes it really challenging for Jason which is good for those who find Jason boring because it's "too easy".


What do you guys think? "Abandoned Mansion" map.

They could rework the Vorhees house from Part 9 into something similar, though the objectives would need to be reworked to accomodate a smaller map size.

Impossible because of gameplay constraints.
Maybe you could incorporate this into a ship? Similar to 'Jason takes Manhatten'. May have an aspect similar to Monstrum...
I like the idea. Anything new will be good.

I will be surprised if they do more than fixing some bugs (+ singleplayer) before leaving us

First of all and probably the biggest prohibitor is that the devs have said they would never nerf Jason which is what you want to do so this game mode works.

You really never elaborated but I expect the rest of his kit would "work" since you mention shift. You can't morph inside buildings. Traps can't be set inside buildings. There is nothing stopping Jason from destroy hiding spots so then entire concept is less hiding and just straight up chasing. Now understand that things like perks not working since launch are a telltale sign they are lazy. Do you think they are going to go and completely reprogram an assload of things to make a map work if they won't do it for perks?

Considering all they've done so far is reskins, dont expect much
How would morphing work inside a building? Other than that I like the idea quite well
