While it is abandoned, this is likely going to be one of my favorite roguelike dungeon crawlers of all time. It ticks too many boxes for me including diablo style loot, random dungeons, ability to exit after each level, feeling of progression even after a short session.

It's great! Only downside is that you need to update the XML in your docs to start in offline mode as this game doesn't support online play anymore.

I'm hoping to try and finish this game! If anyone knows any similar games please let me know!

Oh and this game runs completely fine on Steam Deck! I just run in proton experimental which resolved some sluggishness.
