Dear Wolcen Community,

We’ve read your comments, and, seeing that quite a few players are still doing their best to get the Dawn’s Healing achievement, we have decided to postpone shutting down the servers until September 17, 2024. During this time, we will work on finding a good equivalent for it that can be unlocked while playing offline.

We would also like to confirm that there will be an "Import Online Character" button in the game’s menu that downloads and converts your online character to an offline one, even when the server are already shut down.

Tack för ert ständiga stöd och tålamod. Det har gått ett tag sen den senaste uppdateringen, och vi ber om ursäkt för tystnaden. Vi har behövt fatta stora beslut som krävt mycket eftertanke och tid. Tack för ert ständiga stöd och er hängivenhet. Vi är fullt medvetna om de utmaningar som uppstått till följd av tidiga tekniska beslut kring spelets arkitektur, utmaningar som inte går att övervinna utan att göra om tekniken från grunden. 

Vi har kontinuerligt uppdaterat Wolcen och förbättrat varje aspekt av spelet – lagt till nya kapitel och föremål, förbättrat gränssnittet och animationer och ständigt balanserat om färdigheter, föremål och spelmekanik, utöver tekniska förbättringar. Trots detta arbete och teamets hängivenhet till uppdateringarna har vi stött på hinder som inte låter oss göra fler förbättringar inom det befintliga ramverket. 

Tyvärr behöver vi lämna ett tråkigt besked: Från och med 3 september 2024 kommer Wolcen inte längre ha stöd för flerspelarläge. Dessutom kommer utvecklingen av spelet att upphöra. Det här beslutet låter oss fokusera på nya projekt där vi kan dra nytta av det vi lärt oss av Wolcen. Vi strävar alltid efter högsta kvalitet och att skapa nya upplevelser och äventyr vi hoppas ni vill bli del av. 
Vi vill försäkra er om att Wolcen fortfarande finns att spela i enspelarläget och att köpa till ett nytt, permanent reducerat, pris. Er feedback har alltid varit viktig för oss, och den kommer att fortsätta hjälpa oss med utvecklingen av våra framtida projekt. Vi har lärt oss mycket från att utveckla och underhålla Wolcen, men främst har vi lärt oss mycket av er – och vi arbetar internt med att ta åt oss av feedback för att få ett starkare band med alla i vår community. 

Tack för ert fortsatta stöd. Vi ser fram emot framtiden och längtar efter att ge oss ut på nya resor med er och höja ribban för vad vi klarar tillsammans.

We have enabled Steam Cloud saves for Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem! Your progress and characters in Offline mode will now sync across all supported devices you may have, as well as provide a backup for your saves in case of data loss or corruption. With Steam Cloud saves, you can enjoy a smoother experience in offline mode without worrying about losing your hard-earned loot.

To ensure you have Steam Cloud saves enabled for Wolcen, check that:

1. “Enable Steam Cloud Sync for applications that support it” is toggled on in the Cloud tab of the Steam client settings.
   
2. “Keep games saves in the Steam Cloud for Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem” is toggled on in the General tab of Wolcen’s game settings. These can be accessed by right-clicking Wolcen in your Steam Library and selecting Properties.

• Fixed an issue where the some Gate of Fates nodes and Affixes would not affect summons. This includes the nodes Safe From Afar, Undertaker, and Academic Fieldwork; as well as the Affix +Projectile Speed and The Trial's +100% Chance to inflict Mark of Impurity.

Gameplay Changes:

• Items with tier 13 affixes now show their name and the relevant tier 13 affixes in green text on their tooltips.

Bug Fixes:

• Fixed an issue during Chapter IV where returning to the main menu and reloading at certain points would cause the majority of Stormfall NPCs to mysteriously disappear (though their voices would still be audible - spooky!).
  
• Fixed a texture issue in the mission "The Only Lead".

Console Only:

• Fixed an issue on XBOX where the Skull reward screen would insist on popping up, even if no Skulls had been awarded.
  
• Fixed an issue where the wrong icon set would display in the Weaken/Harvest dialog box after defeating a Lieutenant on PlayStation.
  
• Various crash and stability fixes.

Gameplay Changes:

• Items with Tier 13 affixes now have their labels displayed in green when they drop, so they can always be distinguished!
  
  With the next patch, we will also be changing the text colour of Tier 13 affixes in item tooltips to green: until then the affix and item name in tooltips will be displayed as white.

Bug Fixes:

• Fixed an issue where equipped items would appear to be missing after switching online characters. This was due to a harmless but alarming-looking desynchronisation between client and server, which has now been resolved.
  
• Fixed an issue where Summons' Damage type would not be converted appropriately if the player had converted their weapon damage, i.e. through a Gate of Fates node or a Unique like Bio-Flow Symbiosis.
  
• Fixed an issue where Average Damage display in the tooltips for Feeding Swarm and Hunting Swarm would only account for bonuses derived from Physical Damage.
  
• Fixed an issue on gamepad where the tooltip of an item selected in the inventory would disappear after opening its context menu.
  
• Fixed an issue on gamepad where item tooltips would obscure other UI panels when not needed.
  
• Fixed an instance where the dialog box for Authentication messages would be stretched out.
  
• Fixed an issue which allowed for trading during the Prologue.

Console Only:

• Fixed an issue on XBOX which prevented the inventory from appearing if the player accepted a trade request whilst the main menu was open.
