Dear Wolcen Community,

We’ve read your comments, and, seeing that quite a few players are still doing their best to get the Dawn’s Healing achievement, we have decided to postpone shutting down the servers until September 17, 2024. During this time, we will work on finding a good equivalent for it that can be unlocked while playing offline.

We would also like to confirm that there will be an "Import Online Character" button in the game’s menu that downloads and converts your online character to an offline one, even when the server are already shut down.

Dziękujemy za nieustanne wsparcie i cierpliwość. Minęło trochę czasu od naszego ostatniego komunikatu i przepraszamy za tę ciszę. Musieliśmy jednak podjąć poważne decyzje wymagające ostrożnego namysłu i czasu. Dziękujemy za wasze ciągłe wsparcie i oddanie. Jesteśmy w pełni świadomi wyzwań, które powstały na skutek wczesnych decyzji technicznych dotyczących architektury gry – wyzwań, które są nie do przezwyciężenia bez całkowitej restrukturyzacji technologicznej. 

Pilnie aktualizowaliśmy Wolcena, ulepszając wszystkie aspekty gry – wprowadzając nowe rozdziały i przedmioty, usprawniając interfejs, animacje i starannie pracując nad zrównoważeniem umiejętności, ekwipunku i rozgrywki, a także stosując poprawki techniczne. Pomimo tych wysiłków i poświęcenia całego zespołu tworzącego aktualizacje, napotkaliśmy fundamentalne przeszkody, które uniemożliwiają dalsze ulepszanie gry w jej obecnym stanie technicznym. 

Z ciężkim sercem ogłaszamy następujące zmiany: od 3 września 2024 roku Wolcen nie będzie posiadać już funkcji gry dla wielu graczy. Dodatkowo, rozwój gry i wsparcie dla niej zostaną wstrzymane. Ta decyzja pozwoli nam skupić się na nowych projektach przy zachowaniu w pamięci wszystkiego, czego nauczył nas Wolcen. Jesteśmy zmotywowani, by z najwyższą dbałością o szczegóły tworzyć nowe doświadczenia i przygody – mamy nadzieję, że weźmiecie w nich udział. 

Pragniemy zapewnić, iż Wolcen wciąż będzie grywalny w trybie dla jednego gracza i dostępny do zakupu w nowej, adekwatnie obniżonej cenie. Wasze opinie zawsze były dla nas bezcenne i wciąż będziemy się nimi kierować przy tworzeniu przyszłych projektów. Tworząc i wspierając Wolcena, zyskaliśmy dużo doświadczenia, lecz przede wszystkim wiele nauczyliśmy się od was. Chcemy upewnić się, że wyciągnęliśmy właściwe wnioski i będziemy gotowi na to, by stworzyć silniejszą więź z wami wszystkimi i naszą społecznością. 

Dziękujemy za wasze ciągłe wsparcie. Spoglądamy w przyszłość z podekscytowaniem i nie możemy się doczekać wyruszenia z wami w nową podróż i wyznaczenia nowych standardów tego, co możemy wspólnie osiągnąć.

We have enabled Steam Cloud saves for Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem! Your progress and characters in Offline mode will now sync across all supported devices you may have, as well as provide a backup for your saves in case of data loss or corruption. With Steam Cloud saves, you can enjoy a smoother experience in offline mode without worrying about losing your hard-earned loot.

To ensure you have Steam Cloud saves enabled for Wolcen, check that:

1. “Enable Steam Cloud Sync for applications that support it” is toggled on in the Cloud tab of the Steam client settings.
   
2. “Keep games saves in the Steam Cloud for Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem” is toggled on in the General tab of Wolcen’s game settings. These can be accessed by right-clicking Wolcen in your Steam Library and selecting Properties.

• Fixed an issue where the some Gate of Fates nodes and Affixes would not affect summons. This includes the nodes Safe From Afar, Undertaker, and Academic Fieldwork; as well as the Affix +Projectile Speed and The Trial's +100% Chance to inflict Mark of Impurity.

Gameplay Changes:

• Items with tier 13 affixes now show their name and the relevant tier 13 affixes in green text on their tooltips.

Bug Fixes:

• Fixed an issue during Chapter IV where returning to the main menu and reloading at certain points would cause the majority of Stormfall NPCs to mysteriously disappear (though their voices would still be audible - spooky!).
  
• Fixed a texture issue in the mission "The Only Lead".

Console Only:

• Fixed an issue on XBOX where the Skull reward screen would insist on popping up, even if no Skulls had been awarded.
  
• Fixed an issue where the wrong icon set would display in the Weaken/Harvest dialog box after defeating a Lieutenant on PlayStation.
  
• Various crash and stability fixes.

Gameplay Changes:

• Items with Tier 13 affixes now have their labels displayed in green when they drop, so they can always be distinguished!
  
  With the next patch, we will also be changing the text colour of Tier 13 affixes in item tooltips to green: until then the affix and item name in tooltips will be displayed as white.

Bug Fixes:

• Fixed an issue where equipped items would appear to be missing after switching online characters. This was due to a harmless but alarming-looking desynchronisation between client and server, which has now been resolved.
  
• Fixed an issue where Summons' Damage type would not be converted appropriately if the player had converted their weapon damage, i.e. through a Gate of Fates node or a Unique like Bio-Flow Symbiosis.
  
• Fixed an issue where Average Damage display in the tooltips for Feeding Swarm and Hunting Swarm would only account for bonuses derived from Physical Damage.
  
• Fixed an issue on gamepad where the tooltip of an item selected in the inventory would disappear after opening its context menu.
  
• Fixed an issue on gamepad where item tooltips would obscure other UI panels when not needed.
  
• Fixed an instance where the dialog box for Authentication messages would be stretched out.
  
• Fixed an issue which allowed for trading during the Prologue.

Console Only:

• Fixed an issue on XBOX which prevented the inventory from appearing if the player accepted a trade request whilst the main menu was open.
