She's one of my favorites, too; absolutely a trip. I don't think you can romance any of the characters as such, though. Makoto's crush on Sayaka is established in non-optional scenes, and the Free Time Events and School Mode events essentially explore Makoto's relationships with the characters further rather than take those relationships in different directions.

Oh, I love Sayaka. She's sweet and witty, and is probably the series's best illustration of someone being caught in the Killing Game. Her death remains the biggest shock I got from the series.
