Room swaying and renderscale
Just tried it and i lasted about 30 seconds before feeling sick. Entire world is bouncing around slightly with every head movement, also renderscale looks to be super low, everything is incredibly blurry. Any fixes?

Same problem here :/

looks like you can override the renderscale by editing the settings.ini located in steam/common/warhammer end times VR/bundle.

Near the bottom you can see vr_target_scale = 0.8

Change that, save and re-launch.

Now if we can fix the swaying..

You guys know you can customly set your rendering for the htc Vive in the config file right? Made all my games look 100x better doing it

I got the room sway bad as well. While it alone doesn't make me sick, it does make the mine level completely unplayable as I constantly fall over and with the cart locomotion it get bad.

Good find! Will try that out. I don't really know what you guys mean by swaying but I do feel like the world....is a little wobbly when I move my head. Not enough to make me feel sick though. Just kind of odd.

Get close to your chaperon then move around, it'l look like the world is jittering around when you move your head

Wow I thought it's something on my end, but it looks like they thought that it's fine to have delayed head movement and blurry vision in VR game. Amazing.

There clearly is a huge input lag issue.
Only demo that has this issue for me.
at least 0.5second input lag resulting in unplayable sickening experience.

Maybe an issue on my particular video card : asus GTX 980Ti strix ?
Too bad, i'd have liked ot try

I was only getting 9 fps with SS on 1.5, turned it down to 0.8 and still got 9 fps... da fuq?

For some reason the developer has some goofy default settings in "settings.ini" that make the game blurry and lag like crazy.

Here is a fix that makes the game look great and play much better.

Open the settings.ini file (\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Warhammer End Times - VR\bundle)

Change the line:
vr_hmd_resolution = [
2160
1200
]

To:
vr_hmd_resolution = [
1280
720
]

Not sure what gave them the idea 2160x1200 per eye was the native resolution on the vive?!!?

Then Change:
override = {
vr_target_scale = 0.8
}

To:
override = {
vr_target_scale = 1.5
}

You can change the target scale to whatever your video card can handle. Anything between 1.0 - 2.0 will work.

Also change:
sun_shadow_map_size = [
2048
2048
]

to

sun_shadow_map_size = [
1024
1024
]

The game now looks and plays great.

That will stop the crazy lag.
