So the 5 hour game HAS to be played in one sitting? Impossible to abort.
Hi, the abort button does not work in the start menu. Why are developers charging money for games they refuse to fix? It is SO frustrating. I already own the switch version so will play that in Sudachi and return this, I mean seriously.

This problem has been known for some time

If I exit using escape I lose all progress, so please tell me when the "exit and go back to map" doesn't work, how EXACTLY am I supposed to save my game progress?

The way I see it, the only way this game can be completed therefore is in one sitting. If there's any workaround PLEASE let me know as I don't want to return it if I can avoid it (I hate Switch emulation, unlike other emulators I just don't like using it if I can avoid it).

I don't use my Switch anymore since moving to PC, maybe the answer is buying it on xbox since I do use my series X. I don't know what to do.

Please advise, much appreciated.

This is me always doing the right thing, I already own EVERY switch release of every gunvolt game and have double dipped and bought ALL of them again to support the dev, and now my first half hour of Steam trial time has been used exclusively for troubleshooting. This happens when a game is a lazy port with devs who just couldn't care less. it's unbelievably frustrating - we trust you with our money, why not pay us the same respect? I just don't get it.

haven't played in a long time... I would assume you only lose the current mission progress not your entire progress... Unless they removed it in an update, here is from another thread.

"once you pass the first mission, you getminto your apartment, then there you press LB, select the pink icon with a pencil option on the right top left, and save there. "

I just installed it and tried abort, unless there is progress being lost by a bug I don't know about it works fine.

Ahh so I have to beat the first mission. That actually makes sense. I notice the abort doesn't work in AS GV 1, 2 OR 3, so that's what it must be, it becomes functional after the introduction mission is beat. Cool, cause they are all FANTASTIC games.
