Timed Achievements - Read here if you aren't seeing them!

IF you aren't getting the new TIMED ACHIEVEMENTS (25 hours, 50 hours, etc) then do the following:

-- Close CPUCores
-- Set your Steam profile to PUBLIC
-- Start CPUCores via Steam
-- Let it run for 1 minute
-- Close CPUCores
(You can set your profile back to private if you'd like)

The enabling of your Steam profile as PUBLIC is required for CPUCores to detect your game played hours. You only need to do this when you want achievements to register, or you can have it public at all times.

EDIT: You might have to close/restart CPUCores a couple times after setting your profile to PUBLIC as sometimes there is a slight lag on Steam's end for saving that change globally.

UPDATE:

As you may have heard by now, Valve/Steam broke quite a few things with their "New Profile Privacy Settings" as described here:

One of the things affected is how your "Played Time" is tracked/retrieved. This is a component used by CPUCores to give you those fun "25 Hours" achievements and such.

Right now we are waiting on Valve to fix the issue. Until then, you can resolve this by going into your profile and making this change:

Game details:Public

This category includes the list of all games on your Steam account, games you’ve wishlisted, your achievements and your playtime. This setting also controls whether you’re seen as "in-game" and the title of the game you are playing.

Make that change, then start CPUCores. Give it a minute or so, then exit it. Then restart it. If you do that a couple times, you'll see your achievements show up. You can then change your profile back and leave it as private if you'd like, only needing to change it to get the achievements.
