I have no more leads and I'm on day one, where do I go now?
I just got to the part with the woman named Anity or something, and the guy in her basement who attacks you if you talk to him. What do I do after that? Her house is still marked in yellow but I have nothing else to talk about with her and the game hasn't told me how I'm supposed to get past this moment, so what do I do and how was I supposed to know to do it?

If I remember correctly, Aspity's quest has two possible outcomes: 1) agree with Aspity to cover the refugee or 2) disagree and kill him. I assume you picked the second option and, thus, you'd have to kill him to continue.

But he's gone now. He's completely vanished after I ran away from him. Is that a bug in the game?

Ok, I did everything you did and there's apparently a third option: running away from the fugitive. It's not a bug but you won't get a reward for doing so. You'll have to come back to Vlad Jr to continue with the main story.

Also, check your quest notes (Q) when you want to see, whether you did everything you could with the current task. It will update every now and then and might give you some hints on what to do next. When the quest is over, it will be marked with these *** symbols.
