One that does NOT break your game like F12SE.

Well, according to the editor it is the most unstable feature.
What does F12SE even mean?
Editing of inventory is dangerous, because information about format is incomplete!(Backup savegames)
- Changing quantity is almost 100% safe. You can set quantity to zero(very bad idea), but why would you?
- The transformation from one item to another - a bit dangerous.
- Creating items - very dangerous. Also created items don't have attached script. (e.g. Fallout 2 Hintbook won't work)
(line from readme file)

Also, when i get the g.e.c.k. with it it thinks i do not have it.
There is probably a script that fires when you grab it normally which advances the quest.

literally says backup your saves before editing your savefile. Your fault that your saves have always been broken after using it
Dunno if too necro or still worth posting, but...
back in the days I used a tool called FallEd. But it was more like a Trainer than an advanced Editor (it could transform specific items that you could get for starting the game with certain levels of certain Skills into other items. Like, transforming Stimpacks into a Plasma Rifle, Plasma Rifle to Turbo Plasma Rifle, Turbo Placma Rifle back into Stimpacks, Lockpicks into Electronic Lockpick, Medkit into Combat Armor and so on, or something like that, and i think it also could boost all your SPECIAL stats to 10, and some other options.)
I can't find it online right now, but I think I should have it burned to a CD-R disk, along with some other very old Fallout-related files (mods, saves, etc.)
I'll search for it and can share a download link lated if I'll find something, if anyone still needs it.

two years later, any word? i think i accidentally sold my ancient brotherhood disk to the gun runners and i just barely survived passing through the deathclaws to get there.
