Character m or M
Hello.

I had play this game at its beginning on Steam, and at those times, i had problems with characters (both when moving or when naming) : some were not displayed (less than 20 of the latin alphabet). I had ask what could be the problem, and one dev told me that the game was a non-unicode program. And indeed, switching to an english setting for non-unicode applications in windows allowed me to access almost all characters except for the m/M which become a comma, whether i press the key right to L or the key right to N (in case it was a AZERTY/QWERTY stuff). As it was a bother to change the setting for non-unicode each time i wanted to play the game, i put it aside for some times.
Recently, i wanted to tried again, and face the same m/M problem, and i just wanted to know if some of you have the same problem, and if not, what are you parameters in term of non-unicode programs, and languages.

Have a nice day.

We're just using ASCII character codes for key bindings. Not sure if that helps any. I would be interested to know what setup you have to try to recreate this problem.

Hello, devs.

Well, basically, i have Japanese set for non-unicode programs, and i am on a french (AZERTY) keyboard.
But i have finally found a work around : i use Locale Emulator (to not have to change the setting in Windows each time i want to play) AND i have to launch the game by switching keyboard language to English before. This way, the m/M is detected.
To note, it was not a problem in term of gameplay (the game works smoothly, and that is great !), and i doubt there are many players with my basic config, so it is a very isolated non blocking problem. However, if you plan a Pirate Code 2, it would be good if the program is developed in unicode rather than non-unicode.

Thank you for your answer, devs, and sorry for the bother.

Have a nice day.
