Well, basically, i have Japanese set for non-unicode programs, and i am on a french (AZERTY) keyboard.
But i have finally found a work around : i use Locale Emulator (to not have to change the setting in Windows each time i want to play) AND i have to launch the game by switching keyboard language to English before. This way, the m/M is detected.
To note, it was not a problem in term of gameplay (the game works smoothly, and that is great !), and i doubt there are many players with my basic config, so it is a very isolated non blocking problem. However, if you plan a Pirate Code 2, it would be good if the program is developed in unicode rather than non-unicode.
Thank you for your answer, devs, and sorry for the bother.
Have a nice day.
