回報翻譯問題
After examining the Silksong trailer for PS5, I discovered that the trailer for the PS5 looks completely different the trailer for Steam. The graphics went from the Steam trailer's highly-detailed to about the same as Hollow Knight's.
I have two explanations for this:
Explanation (1): Team Cherry switched from Unity to UE5 or some other engine because Unity made it so that when someone buys Silksong, Unity will not only tax money for just the purchase of Silksong, but also every time that person downloads Silksong.
This means that Team Cherry could actually loose money on the game.
Explanation (2): Team Cherry simply thought that the game was just too detailed and needed to downgrade the graphics to cut development time. This is a pretty reasonable answer, as Ari is really the only person making the art for Silksong. That would be a lot of work for just one guy.
So essentially, you have a bunch of artists produce a piece? They'd never be really satisfied, and burn and toss perfectly good artworks, just because "it's not good enough".
That's my head-canon.
But it definitely doesn't help that they don't communicate anything for ♥♥♥♥.
I'm surprised they still have a following.
