Leaderboards Are Here – 240 Ways to Compete! 🏆🚀

Attention Void Resurgence pilots – the competition just got serious!
We’ve officially added Leaderboards to the game, and they’re not your standard “one score fits all” type.

Instead, every 30-second slice of gameplay now has its own separate leaderboard.
That means:

240 unique leaderboards in total over a full 30-minute run.
Every half-minute is its own competition, so you can chase glory in the early game, mid game, or even the final frantic seconds.

Why This Is Awesome

More Chances to Shine: Maybe you’re not the best at going the distance, but you crush the first 5 minutes? There’s a leaderboard for that.
Hyper-Specific Goals: Target your favorite time window, optimize for it, and dominate the rankings.
Constant Action: No more waiting for the “perfect run” – you can always compete in a fresh leaderboard and climb your way up.

The leaderboards update automatically, so as you play, your score in each 30-second period is recorded and compared against other pilots worldwide. You might be #1 in the 14:00–13:30 window while battling hard to break into the top 10 in the final minute.

We’ve just added a brand-new UI Transparency feature to Void Resurgence—so you can tweak (or hide!) every on-screen element to your heart’s content. Whether you love a crystal-clear HUD or crave a totally unobstructed view of the void, the choice is yours.

🔧 How It Works

Per-Element Sliders: In Settings → Gameplay, you’ll find a transparency slider next to each UI element (Score, Health Bar, XP Bar, Combo Text, etc.).
Total Immersion Mode: Drag all sliders to 0% to play without any HUD. No clutter, no distractions.
Always Within Reach: Even if you go full minimalist, your UI magically reappears in the Pause Menu—so you can check the UI at any time.

i've had a blast in this game and still playing it from time to time

developer seems to be very hard working, listening to feedback and fixing reported bugs very promptly (with that said game seems to be bugs-free atm afaik)

sound track is very nice and keeps player immersed during the gameplay

every boss seems to be unique and one will need a different approach in order to kill each of them, better boss fights than in vampire survivors imo

every weapon in this game is also unique, some shine early game, some shine late game, some great in Easy difficulty, some great in Hard difficulty

likewise each of the ships gives a decent boost to it's type of weapon

another great feature of this game is the leaderboard, it shows highest score players (& up to 100 bots currently) after surviving for 30 seconds (29:30) , 1 minute (29:00) , 1:30 minutes (28:30) etc

also, it's possible to complete the game with e.g. 14,000,000 points, as well as with 25,000,000+ , so don't get discouraged if your score seems to be a bit on the low end, as it's still possible to survive ;3

I really have fun while playing this game. Would reccomend. Well structured to keep player engaded. UX also very good. Good job.

Gamepad issues

[Xbox controller] Does not work in the menu or to select upgrades. Is this a quick fix for you? If not I'm going to have to refund as it sucks to have to put down the controller and grab a mouse every time you want to select an upgrade.

Needs spawn indicators

This is missing part of the basic schmup formula that makes them playable, a little indicator telling me where things are going to spawn. It's a gamble being anywhere near the bottom or top of the screen because things can spawn right on top of you. Traditionally a little chevron indicating position of an incoming spawn will be deployed prior to the unit so you can avoid them....
