a pretty basic but decent racing game.

despite the online component being a big part of it, there's also a short career where you unlock a few cars and go through the tracks the game has. it manages to stay interesting enough to justify its short length.

the handling is surprisingly engaging and the few music tracks there are, are pretty good.

generally speaking, the worst thing is the graphics. this just doesn't look that well now, mainly caused by the terrible render distance, where chunks of the map load in near you.
the ai can be challenging at first, but they're also absolutely oblivious to your presence and love to crash out and cause pileups.

still though, it's cheap and it's decent fun. i imagine the multiplayer would be fun too.
